Doing my taxes has always been a frustrating time and I always dreaded doing them. Filing them online myself left a doubt lingering in my mind that I would do something wrong, forget to check a box and somehow create a huge mess of it all. In the years I took my info to a tax service chain, it was more expensive than filing online, and I was treated like just another customer.....not to mention the awkwardness of sitting there in silence while they do their thing.
