Basic: Rest Assured That Your Taxes Are Correct

The Basic Personal Package is for the DIY-er who no longer wants to DIY.


• Your return is guaranteed to be maximized to your benefit, with all eligible credits and deductions claimed

• Additional charges may apply for a large number of slips (ie. medical receipts) or investment transactions to be reported - fee quote provided up front

• PDF copy of return and e-file confirmation emailed to the client after filing

• Support after filing the return (ie. responding to CRA requests for copies of receipts, etc.) will be billed based on the amount of time required for us to assist, at a rate of $100/hour


Returns start at $75 for an individual or $135 for a couple (not much more than buying your own tax software!)

All clients are requested to sign an authorization permitting us to have online access to your Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) account. You may cancel this authorization with CRA at any time. “Starting” Prices above reflect Taxwerx receiving your information electronically, and providing you with an electronic copy of the completed return. Additional charges will apply for clients who provide us with paper copies of their information, and who request a paper copy of the completed return. All tax returns prepared by Taxwerx are guaranteed to be accurate. We will pay any interest and penalties assessed by CRA as a result of errors or omissions we made.
